| Incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency in 1991 as an outgrowth of the annual statewide Supported Life Conference, the Institute was formed in recognition of the ongoing needs which have been expressed by people with disabilities, families and service providers for quality and relevant trainings which incorporate the values and principles of the concept of supported life. |
